The Shubb C1 Standard Capo for steel string guitars is the choice of millions of musicians world wide. Crafted from nickel-plated brass, the C1 capo features an upgraded design that utilizes a roller wheel for smoother action, superior geometry, and reduced wear. Shubb also added a contoured lever allowing for easier use and rounded ends that are softer to the touch. These design features were originally only available on Shubb's Deluxe models. The C1 Standard Capo will fit most acoustic and electric guitars. Available in two different finishes: Polished or Brushed Nickel.

The Shubb capo is by far the best at not creating tuning problems. Its soft, resilient rubber is specially designed to work just like a fingertip, so it doesn't bend the strings over the frets. Its closing action is just like your hand, so it doesn't pull the string off center. As a result, no re-tuning is necessary!
