Shubb C2 Standard Capo for Nylon String Classical Guitars, Polished Nickel
The Shubb C2 Standard Capo for nylon string guitars is designed for instruments with wide, flat fretboards such as classical guitars, flamenco guitars, and some folk guitars. Nylon string guitars almost always have flat fretboards; however, in today’s world of blending styles, there are a few hybrid guitars with nylon strings and radiused fretboards. These unique guitars should use a Shubb model 3 capo.
Crafted from nickel-plated brass, the C2 Standard capo is 2.25" wide and flat and features Shubb's roller wheel design for smoother action, superior geometry, and reduced wear. Shubb also added a contoured lever allowing for easier use and rounded ends that are softer to the touch. Available in two different finishes: Polished or Brushed Nickel.
When the Shubb capo was first introduced about 40 years ago, guitarists throughout the world fell in love with it and they’re still in love with it today. Its closing action is just like your hand, so it doesn't pull the string off center. As a result, no re-tuning is necessary!
