The Oscar Schmidt OH22SE Thin Line 10-String Bajo Quinto acoustic electric guitar offers full bodied tone with a solid cedar top, sapele back and sapele sides. Other fine features found on the OH22SE Bajo Quinto include brilliant ebony and ivory striped binding, intricate wood marquetry rosette, deluxe rear facing tuning pegs, and a unique Ovangkol longhorn bridge design. The built in Fishman preamp/tuner makes the OH22SE the perfect performance instrument.
The 10-string Bajo Quinto is a five course version of the bajo sexto, It appeared in response to players removing the final E course, which they feel produces a much brighter tone. From highest to lowest string they are tuned: A-D-G-C-F.
