It is from these origins, that provide Palatino its passion for incredibly crafted and meticulously detailed musical instruments. Since 1994, Palatino has been devoted to bringing together the beauty of tradition with the strength of contemporary technology to classic instruments for the world to enjoy.
The new and improved line of Palatino wind instruments has to be seen and heard to be believed. Our upgrades include nickel/silver valves and injection-molded keys for added playability. Replacement parts for our winds are available and each instrument is inspected and adjusted in the U.S. to ensure their quality. These student instruments will impress even the most accomplished musicians!
The new elite alto saxophone has an expressive tone and incredible playability. Key placement can be adjusted for maximum comfort. The tri-point bracing holds the instrument in three points of contact for strength and durability and keeps the bell from getting out of line. All keys feature reinforced key arms to prevent bending or damage.
All models are made with European bell brass and have a seamless neck, pearloid buttons and injection-molded keys with a polished lacquer finish. We use high-quality leather pads with metal resonators for improved tone and to eliminate leaks. Each sax outfit comes with a padded featherweight case, mouthpiece, reed, adjustable neck strap and blanket.
