Featuring the same excellent construction as our Bb trombone but with the addition of an attached rotary valve, the Bb F-Trigger trombone gives a player the option of pitching the instrument down to the key of F with a simple valve adjustment. By pressing the F-Trigger valve, a trombonist can play notes in the sixth position without moving out of the first position, which greatly increases the ability to play fast passages. The F-Trigger also gives a trombonist the choice of notes more than an octave below what a regular Bb trombone can provide. This upgrade provides a more diverse melodic and dynamic range as well as greater speed and flexibility.
