It has a Crossweave Carbon Fiber Top. This top with its special bracing, gives it a fabulous big, well balanced, clean sound. It has a deep full gloss White Pearl finish on the top, which also contributes to the richness of the sound. The ebony fingerboard and bridge give it a great sustain in all registers. The top is bound in beautiful ivoroid binding. The Neck is slender and very easy to play and the action is very low and fast with no buzz. This USA made guitar has an awesome acoustic 6 string sound. You can fight feedback with an ultra steep notch filter and handle any standard or open tuning with the built in chromatic tuner. Utilizing advanced imaging technology, the VIP-5 reproduces the sound of your guitar as if it were recorded in a state of the art recording studio with the finest microphones. Using spectrographic analysis, the pickup output is compared to the spectrograph of the recorded sound. The signal is then sent through approximately 1000 filters and shaped exactly like the recorded sound.
