Ovation has applied 40 years of guitar making to design an affordable guitar that doesn't sound like an affordable guitar. The Celebrity Deluxe is proof of that. This guitar boasts bigger sound than guitars that cost twice as much.
The Ovation sound. The sound that made the acoustic guitar a viable electric instrument is now within everyone's reach. Multi-soundhole technology made affordable. Using the same unique Ovation Quintad bracing pattern featured on the more expensive Elite models, here's an entry-level acoustic/electric that will continue to earn its keep as your playing skills mature.
Multiple soundholes in the upper bout allow for more efficient bracing and tone contouring. This technique has been perfected over the last two decades on guitars ten times as expensive. Now everyone can own one. Ovation's unique Quintad bracing pattern allows maximum top vibration while maintaining stability. In conjunction with the roundback body, the Celebrity Deluxe produces a robust sound with plenty of tonal cut.
With its Flame Maple top, super shallow cutaway body style, comfortable "U" shaped neck, gleaming gold tuners, Exotic Hardwood Epaulets, the Ovation Celebrity Deluxe CC48-RRBY looks as good as it plays. A bound rosewood fingerboard and a slim 'U' shaped neck make the Celebrity Deluxe one of the easiest-playing guitars in the business. The frets are hand-dressed and the action height is set to "Fast." Electronics include an Ovation Slimline Pickup and an OP4BT preamp. The OP4BT preamp offers +/-12dB control over the bass, midrange, and treble frequencies for great tonal flexibility. It's on-board tuner is easy to use and helps you stay perfectly in-tune, even when using open or non-standard tunings. -
