The rock maple neck profile has also been slimmed down to give it a look and feel more appealing to electric players. An ultra light, yet incredibly durable, textured enamel finish is wrapped around the entire back and top.
The Ovation 1778TX-PW features a mid-depth body with a solid spruce top, quintad bracing, and a satin finish maple neck with an ebony fingerboard. Black tuners, a tusq nut and an ebony bridge keep your intonation right on the mark and give your strings the surfaces they need to perform at their best. An Ovation Original Patented Pickup and OP-Pro preamp w/chromatic tuner make plugging in satisfying, not frustrating. Straplok strap buttons keep your baby secure.
