Each MK resonator has a traditional internal soundwell. This muli-ply maple sound well is carefully installed and crafted for increased vibration and volume. The soundwell is topped off with a hand spun aluminum cone by J.P. Quarterman - the same Quarterman cone used in virtually every highly sought after vintage resonator. Michael Kelly continues its focus on sound with carefully selected woods, sound port positioning and craftsmanship. Besides sounding amazing you will find several models that offer distinctive appearances. This comes from exotic woods, distinctive finishes, special inlays and an exclusive "aged" plating process offered on some models.
