The Woodland Spalt Maple, as the name infers, features a highly figured Spalted Maple body that produces shimmering highs and a warm low end. Spalted maple is maple with dark veins that run random through the wood. This creates a very decorative soundboard that resembles a pen and ink drawing. Each top has a unique pattern making every guitar a one-of-a-kind instrument! Luna's specially designed neck profile ensures a comfortable playing experience that puts challenging notes and chords within easy reach. Luna's exclusive moon phase fretboard markers, inlaid with mother-of-pearl, trace the length of the rosewood fretboard over mahogany neck.
Complementing the design is the inclusion of a state-of-the-art B-Band T35 preamp that maintains the intimate and natural acoustic tonal quality of these fine instruments. All B-Band pickups use proprietary patented electret film technology instead of common piezo materials. Piezo pickups tend to impart a sound of their own, often described as "quacky" or "plastic". B-Band transducers act in much the same way a condenser microphone does. This results in excellent reproduction of your acoustic instrument's unique voice. The T35 is a single input preamp, with an LCD / LED chromatic tuner with on/off button and signal output mute. The tuner can also be used the when preamp is not plugged-in. Other features include a three-band EQ, Phase button and Volume button.
Luna guitars are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase to the original owner when purchased from an authorized Luna Guitars dealer. Luna Guitars will repair or replace, at its option, any Luna instrument or part thereof which is found by Luna to be defective. Luna Guitars reserves the right to use materials regularly utilized at the time of repair in the event that original materials are no longer available. Warranty service requires a copy of the original sales receipt to be presented at the time of service request
