A paste is made from the henna plant (Lawsonia Inermis) and applied to the skin in a wide array of intricate designs. Henna Artist Alex Morgan on her artwork for the Henna Paradise: "The pattern I chose for Luna's Paradise guitar is based on the art of Medieval Spain. The culturally rich and diverse period is the only one in which Henna was grown and used as a cosmetic in Europe. The era also was historically important in development and growing popularity of the guitar."
The Henna Paradise acoustic-electric guitar is built on a folk body design. A slightly smaller body type, it is great for musicians of a smaller build, or those who prefer playing a smaller-sized guitar. The mahogany body and spruce top create rich definition from note to note, with plenty of presence and unique character when playing rhythmic chords. The 25-1/2" scale, C-shape neck design, and 1-5/8" nutwidth add comfort for performing intricate progressions. Luna's exclusive moon phase fretboard markers, inlaid with mother-of-pearl, trace the length of the rosewood fretboard over mahogany neck.
Complementing the design is the inclusion of a state-of-the-art B-Band T35 preamp that maintains the intimate and natural acoustic tonal quality of these fine instruments. All B-Band pickups use proprietary patented electret film technology instead of common piezo materials. Piezo pickups tend to impart a sound of their own, often described as "quacky" or "plastic". B-Band transducers act in much the same way a condenser microphone does. This results in excellent reproduction of your acoustic instrument's unique voice. The T35 is a single input preamp, with an LCD / LED chromatic tuner with on/off button and signal output mute. The tuner can also be used the when preamp is not plugged-in. Other features include a three-band EQ, Phase button and Volume button.
