A guitar worthy of representing over 50 years of fine guitar building by Guild Guitars.
Guild has produced some of the world's finest jumbo guitars since it's earliest days in the 1950's. The Guild jumbo tone is both powerful and balanced with exceptional clarity and articulation. The all-solid maple jumbo body guarantees big tone and projection, and authentic mother-of-pearl inlays offer a tasteful visual presence.
The Guild GAD-JF30 Jumbo Acoustic Guitar is inspired by the original Guild jumbo flat top, first introduced in 1954. The GAD-JF30 is crafted with solid flamed maple for the back and sides and a solid spruce top that features scalloped bracing. Guild then joined the one piece mahogany neck with the traditional dovetail neck joint.
Other appointments on the GAD-JF30 are ebony for the fingerboard and bridge, pearl dot inlayed bridge and strap pins, wood bindings, and Grover Rotomatic tuning gears. For the best in tone and intonation, the Guild GAD-JF30 features a bone nut and bone compensated saddle. For the finishing touches Guild inlayed classic pearl fingerboard inlays and then packed the instrument in a wooden arched case.
