In a unique construction coup, this nylon-string guitar boasts a revolutionary solidbody design using a spruce top and mahogany body, combined with computer-designed sound chambers that deliver natural acoustic tone. They don't have conventional sound holes because they don't need them.
The SST Classic 2.0 features a 2" nut and unrivaled comfort of a SlimTaper mahogany neck, along with the security of professional classical tuners and a rosewood bridge. This guitar features an SST Classic preamp with active volume and EQ controls, the Shadow Nanoflex bridge pickup to convey the gorgeous nylon-string tone through your amp or PA, and an innovative headphone/amp switch that lets you plug a set of regular headphones into the output jack and practice quietly. Not a piezo, the Nanoflex's unique flexible sensing material features integrated active electronics and picks up not only string vibration but also top and body vibrations as well without the harshness of piezos.
