Designed for superb sound quality and easy playability, the affordable AE128 acoustic-electric guitar features the famous super-shallow roundback body, calibrated Spruce top, slim neck for fast and effortless action, built-in pickup/electronics system, and cutaway neck access. The AE128 has the new OP4B EQ preamp with active battery powered circuitry for a hotter output signal, less sensitive to external interference, like hum from lighting rigs, and you get a more workable signal at the mixing desk. The OP4B has 3-band EQ (Bass, Mid and Treble EQ sliders), single rotary gain control and battery LED. Thinline undersaddle pickups provide quick response and superior dynamic range for exceptional solo performance. The warm acoustic guitar tones are combined with the pre-amp electronics to create the signature Ovation sound. Ovation's shallow bowl single cut-away acoustic body is much thinner than other acoustic/electric guitars. For guitar players looking for a smaller body the AE-128's light weight and comfortable single cutaway are perfect. The thinner shallow bowl also reduces feedback during live performances, while the Ovation OP4B pre amp is great for recording.
