Takamine’s new Dragon themed dreadnought showcases the latest innovation that the brand has become known for — incorporating delicate and stunning graphic overlays on to a variety of extremely affordable guitars.

Takamine’s Dragon EG531SC-DR dreadnought features a menacing dragon fashioned from precisely cut, genuine abalone shell applied to the spruce soundboard and covered by a protective polyester finish. The detail is ferociously vivid and stands in brilliant contrast over the gloss black finish. A fireball serves as the 12th fret marker on the rosewood fretboard. Other features include an abalone rosette, scalloped X bracing, mahogany back and sides and the TK40 preamp. Retail: $849
